They’re just some of the strange things that blew out of Ear Spring, a thermal spring in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park, when it erupted on September 15.A Dr. Pepper can was one of the items shot out by the Ear Spring geyser during the September eruption. It shot water, rocks and trash upwards of 20 feet, according to the United States Geological Survey.Yellowstone National Park staff found the items, which included a pacifier that dated back to the 1930s, around the vent of the geyser.Aerial view of Yellowstone National Park, Grand Prismatic Spring.
