first_imgQPR chairman Tony Fernandes has paid tribute to Manchester United and is hoping the relationship between the two clubs continues.Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson was keen for defender Fabio to spend the coming season on loan with the R’s and recently agreed to sell Park Ji-sung.The duo’s arrival in west London is a big boost for Rangers manager Mark Hughes, who is a popular figure at United from his playing days there.“We have a good relationship with them and we thank them. They didn’t want Ji to leave and I think the respect they showed for him was fantastic,” said Fernandes.“It’s a good relationship that we hope to continue.
