In a career spanning 40 years Darrell Scott has penned hit songs for mainstream artists from the Dixie Chicks to Travis Tritt and has had songs covered by over 70 others spanning from Keb Mo’ to Mary Gauthier.Awards have included AMA Song of the Year, ASCAP’s Songwriter of the Year and a host of other accolades. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to see one of of reggae’s undisputed greats.Imelda May Jazzed for Derry ReturnIrish musician, producer and singer/songwriter Imelda May is excited to return to Derry this year having been announced as headliner of the annual City of Derry Jazz and Big Band Festival.Now in its 16th year, the five-day festival will take place from April 27th – May 1st. May’s most recent live appearance in Derry was at Ebrington as part of Peace One Day, the opening concert of the London 2012 Festival and one of the first major events counting down to the City of Culture 2013 celebrations. The performance was a real credit to the group and their tutor Paul Harrigan and suggests that the future of traditional music in the Letterkenny area is in good hands.An Grianán Theatre Music and Drama last_img
